The registration path
- Eligibility. The exam is open only to people at Claude Partner Network organisations. You need a company-domain email (personal addresses are rejected), you must be 18 or older, and you need a government photo ID. Network membership has no fee.
- Account. Sign in to the Anthropic Partner Academy and open the official CCDV-F certification page .
- Fee. Pay the exam fee: $125 USD before partner discounts (50% off for Select, Preferred and Global Premier partners; Global Premier partners pay nothing through 2026-12-31).
- Booking. Pearson VUE emails a scheduling link. Pick a date and slot, online (OnVUE) or at a test center. Reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours ahead, per the Partner Academy FAQ and the Pearson VUE page.
- Exam day. Sit 53 questions in 120 minutes. A scaled score of 720 on a 100 to 1000 scale passes.
Before you book
- Pick the date first. Choose an exam date, then work backwards. The planner on the home page splits your weekly hours across the 8 domains.
- Check the exam guide version. The domain weights on this site come from exam guide v1.0, effective July 2026. Confirm that is the version your exam uses.
- Confirm the price. The $125 figure is the price before partner discounts. See cost.
- Know the retake rules. Waits of 14, 30 and 90 days, at most 4 attempts per rolling 12 months, full fee each time. There is no bulk purchase or voucher yet.
On exam day
The exam is proctored, so identity checks and environment rules apply. Bring a valid government photo ID. The exam is closed book and English only, with about 135 minutes of seat time. Other rules come from the official exam guide and the Pearson VUE page . Read them before the day, because the delivery partner can change them.
After the exam
The scoring is scaled, with 720 as the pass mark. Results show on screen at the end: pass or fail, the scaled score and percent correct by section. A pass triggers a Credly badge email. The credential is valid for 12 months. An on-time renewal is an unproctored assessment at no charge; a lapse means retaking the full exam. Your registration stays valid for 5 years from purchase.
Keep your records
Save the confirmation message, the booking time and the exam name as shown at checkout. If anything about your booking looks wrong, contact Anthropic at certifications-support@anthropic.com or Pearson VUE, and do it before exam day.
Pick the right exam first
Developer Foundations and Architect Foundations share a fee and a pass score, so it is easy to book the wrong one. Check the comparison before you pay.
